Hi All... This is something that I have been working on, on and off for quite some time now... I wanted a little more action than I had in my previous ship post, and wanted a little piracy.... I am currently working on the deck of the ship for a little boarding action.... Check out my Scraps if you want a preview of the cast and crew, as well as a quick peak at the current render.
58 hours? Another absolutely amazing work. Do oyu work in apraphics company by the way?
And as far as the 2 hour work trip goes. Add alittle adventure too it Throw something at someone. PArticipate in a street race to your work or something
Wow, that thing is massive. I really like it. There just one thing that I can't quite get my head around. To the left of the screen the way the waves sink into the distance...I can't quite explain what it is but there just seems to be something wrong with it. I don't know, maybe it's just the waves getting in the way. It just looks a bit like they roll upward if you get my meaning, when they should be disappearing downwards because of the shape of the earth.
I doubt I've expressed myself effectively there, but never mind. Overall though I love it...the waves and the deck look almost real.
Of all things, I work for an Office Supplies company as a Marketing Analyst Project Manager... I manage all Coupons, and coupon related activities for OfficeMax... I'm otherwise known as the "Coupon Man".
Believe me when I tell you, I wish I could throw something, but half the ride is bumper to bumper... That would tend to result in fist fights... besides this is the land of road rage... you can get shot for stuff like that.
The water and sky are usually the two hardest things to capture realism in 3D.... I'm shocked I achieved what I did. I have also never actually seen the ocean, but I am sure that a few hours of watching would certainly have helped.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
