So many of you have heard the news..... Many have their own reactions..... The last year has been aggravating, taxing, and down right stressful.
I worry about our environment, our freedoms, our peace and brotherhood/sisterhood. I have been frightened for our future, all our futures. It feels like hope was merely a dream, unreal and slipping farther from reality. People riot in the streets. There is vandalism, violence, panic, and fear.... mostly fear. I have never seen America this way, and I have been alive for 50 years. I have to wonder, is it just in my imagination, or am I really seeing the future. The future I see is not just grim,

Hi all,
I have posted here only a couple of times in about forever saying that I'm back, and then drop off the face of the earth again.... I haven't posted art in forever either. Not that I haven't wanted too, God how I miss it. I was refurbishing my basement into an art studio, and it was looking amazing. It seems to have everything I would ever need to come up with some amazing art. Then we got a dog before I finished.... The dog destroyed the basement, as well as several dehumidifier accidents.... It's going take a lot to get it where I want it to be before I can work there....

Soon, it's going to be yet another regular day. Birds will sing...cats will meow...dogs will bark...geese will honk and steal peoples stuff.
A typical, simple, regular day.
However, there is a small, tiny, exception. The exception is for you, for that is the time when lightning was thrown from above by Zeus to herald your appearance. Cast in the molten fires of Mount Olympus, and granted with a great creative power, you have been released upon the world to conquer it in whatever manner you see fit! For it has been foretold by those who can see the future that you are great and true, and that it is your time to shout your joy to the heavens, and revel in the knowledge that on that day, it is written for you to have a Happy Birthday, with many more to come to increase your power and complete your creative conquest!
Also there's hand made cake and ice cream from down the street. Those folks make some mighty fine cake indeed. Yum!

An entry of mystery, and portent, as the great powers came down upon the Earth, and, in accordance with the wishes of the mighty King Kong, granted the world a boon. That boon was you. And lo, let it be said to all that you are to be wished a Happy Birthday upon that day, with the most excellent and amazing of cakes to partake in!
History records that, just days from now, a tremendous upheaval took place as the ground cracked and broke apart, tornadoes spun counter to their nature, and even Godzilla bowed as you appeared upon the Earth to grace us with your art. And so it is wished upon you to have a Happy Birthday on that day....and a most excellent cake.
